New Tab Chrome Extension Sketchplanations

The Sketchplanations New Tab extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

The extension only stores a few local preferences in Chrome storage in your browser, such as:

• your chosen colour scheme
• how often the extension should refresh the sketch
• cached information about the last sketch shown so that it can avoid unnecessary requests

This information never leaves your browser and is not sent to any server.

The extension makes a small number of network requests:

• to sketchplanations.com to load the current sketch
• to https://www.google.com/generate_204 to detect whether you are offline

No data about you or your browsing is sent with these requests.

The extension does not track you, does not read your browsing activity, and does not share information with third parties.
